Hello and Welcome!

"It's All Good" was the theme for Graeme Connors in 2006. With the release of his 14th CD -"It's All Good...More of the Best" - and a significant birthday year, it has been an aptly titled period of celebration for this multi award-winning Australian songwriter and recording artist.

Now 12 months and 60 concert performances down the road, including the Woodford and Port Fairy Folk Festivals, the Tamworth and Norfolk Island Country Music Festivals, the spectacular Gympie Music Muster, and his own unforgettable "Simply Graeme Connors" series of concerts, Graeme's reputation as the most eclectic 'not to be missed' Australian Singer/Songwriter goes from strength to strength.

And 2007 is already shaping up to be a busy touring year for Graeme. Beginning with his annual Tamworth Town Hall afternoon concert on Australia Day in the home town of Australian Country Music, and heading off in all directions from late February, it's guaranteed that he will be "In Concert" somewhere near you, sometime soon.

So be sure to visit the tour dates section of this website regularly for the latest additions to his schedule.

In other news: Early December 2006 saw Graeme in the studio with Fiddler's Feast - the sometimes bizarre, always high energy, globe-trotting fiddle band. What might at first seem an unlikely pairing, this project was the brainchild of producer Andrew Richardson. The recordings were a first-time musical meeting between Graeme and the Band, and a reunion of sorts for Graeme, Andrew and Keith Walker, the legendary studio engineer. Andrew, Keith and Graeme last met in Nashville 1993 to create "The Return" - the CD that did so much to bring Graeme to the attention of the Australian Country Music fraternity.

The new project was recorded over 5 days at The Whitehouse Studios in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales - a fabulous live-in retreat in the hills overlooking Bowral. The spectacular surroundings and the low pressure environment proved perfect to bring out the best in Graeme and the Band, and with the emphasis firmly on having fun and capturing the moment, the songs reportedly have a sense of spontaneity, good humor and 'joie de vivre' that will be sure to satisfy fans of Graeme and Fiddler's Feast alike.

The plan apparently is to see final mixing and mastering completed in February for a May release. Watch this space.

Latest news: And be sure to watch CMC for "It's All Good" - the new filmclip produced by Lindsay and Jesse Frazer. Enjoying high rotation on Australia's best pay TV music channel, the mini-movie stars champion flyweight boxer Bradley Hore alongside of Graeme. Shot in and around Sydney, this filmclip is once again jam-packed with easily recognizable images of one of our most beautiful cities.

Also, Graeme was delighted to learn pre-Christmas that "Louisa" his poignant anti-terrorist song (co-written with Mark McDuff) has found a finalist position in the TSA Contemporary Country Song Of the Year Awards, and that the recording has also brought him a Finalist position in the Male Artist of the Year category in the Tamworth Golden Guitar Awards. We wish him well for both.
